Curl Hydration Spray is a water-based curl refresher spray for waves, curls and coils that rehydrates second- and third-day hair with glycerin and a light touch of argan and rose oils. No rewetting and no buildup.

Refreshing day-three curls shouldn't mean starting over. A few passes of this hydrating hair mist put water back where it's needed, and the curl re-forms as it dries.

Who it's for

Type 2 waves through Type 4 coils, including braids, locs, wigs and weaves. Naturally Curly's Editors' Choice Awards voted it Best Refresher for Type 2 and Type 4 hair. It's protein-free and coconut-oil-free.

What's inside this curl refresher spray

  • Purified water + vegetable glycerin — water is the moisture; glycerin is a humectant that holds it in the strand, so the refresh lasts past lunch.
  • Argan oil — rich in oleic acid, which absorbs into the hair instead of leaving residue.
  • Rose flower oil — the oil from the petals, not rose water. It adds a light softness and the scent.
  • Vitamin E — an antioxidant that helps keep the oils fresh.

How to use

  1. Shake well. The oils settle between uses.
  2. Hold it 4–6 inches from your hair and mist evenly — enough to dampen, not soak.
  3. Scrunch or smooth with your palms to re-clump curls, then let it dry.
  4. On wash day, mist each wet section before your leave-in, Curl Moisture Cream, or before Twist Whip Butter for a twist-out.

What to expect

Curls soften and re-form as they dry. It works as a light, water-based leave-in spray too. If hair still feels dry by day three, the fix is usually a richer leave-in underneath, like Sweet Almond Heavy Cream, not more spray.

FREE FROM: mineral oil, petroleum, sulfates, parabens. Vegan and cruelty-free. pH-balanced at 4.5–5.5 — the slightly acidic range where the cuticle lies flat.
