Sweet Almond Heavy Cream is a rich leave-in conditioner for dry, damaged hair that's thick or coarse. Sweet almond and castor oils soften the strand, and glycerin and conditioning fatty alcohols hold the moisture in, so it styles like a butter and moisturizes like a cream.

Who it's for
Super-dry, coarse or damaged hair, from curly to tightly coiled 4C — a leave-in conditioner for thick hair and a 4C hair moisturizer that lasts past day one. Especially high porosity hair, which drinks moisture fast and loses it just as fast. Protein-free.
What's inside this leave-in conditioner for dry, damaged hair
- Sweet almond oil — a soft, oleic-rich oil that absorbs to soften coarse strands and adds slip for styling.
- Castor seed oil — a thick oil that forms a light seal on the strand, which slows how fast moisture escapes.
- Behentrimonium methosulfate + cetearyl, cetyl and stearyl alcohols — plant-based conditioners and fatty alcohols. The softening kind of alcohol, not the drying kind.
- Vegetable glycerin — a humectant that draws water into the hair.
- Aloe + rosemary leaf extract — veil the hair and scalp, with vitamin E to protect the oils.
How to keep 4C hair moisturized longer
- On wash day, deep condition with the Babassu Deep Conditioner and rinse.
- Working in sections on damp hair, mist each one with Curl Hydration Spray. Water first is what the cream seals in.
- Warm a quarter-sized amount per section and smooth it from the ends up. Don't rinse.
- Wear it as is or twist it for a twist-out. Seal the ends with Argan Rose Hair Oil if you like.
What to expect
Softer, more pliable hair that's still moisturized on day two and three. Refresh with a mist of spray rather than piling on more cream, which can build up.
