Maestro 5-Ply Stainless Frying Pan
Who it's for and how it compares
Who it's for: cooks who want one pan for searing, browning and pan sauces that will last for decades. It is uncoated 18/10 stainless with no PFAS or PTFE, fully clad 5-ply, oven-safe to 500°F and covered by a lifetime warranty, in 8", 9.5" and 11" from $129.
How it compares: All-Clad D3 is 3-ply and hand wash only; Made In is 5-ply like ours and rated higher in the oven (800°F). The Maestro 5-Ply is dishwasher-safe, induction-ready and priced in the same range as both. See the stainless frying pan comparison.

How to Get the Best Performance
For stainless steel pieces, preheat the pan before adding oil, then allow food to naturally release before flipping or moving. Use low to medium heat. Metal utensils are safe on uncoated stainless steel; wood or silicone helps preserve the finish.
Care tips:
- Preheat stainless steel pieces before cooking
- Use medium heat for even results
- Avoid overheating an empty pan
- Let cookware cool before washing
- Use a soft sponge or non-scratch pad
- Bar Keepers Friend restores shine when needed
- Dishwasher safe; hand washing is recommended to preserve the finish
